The Music Program at Liberty Common School is dedicated to offering a wide variety of musical opportunities to our students in order to help them develop an appreciation and understanding of music.
Our Core Music classes explore a wide variety of topics ranging from the musical elements, notation, significant composers and their works, and the historical and cultural importance of music. Our junior high and high school introduces several instrumental and vocal ensembles in which students may elect to participate. We strive to promote excellence in practice and performance techniques in both our instrumental and vocal programs.
LCHS boasts one of the region’s strongest band and orchestra programs. Full-year courses include Intermediate Band, Concert Band, String Orchestra, and AP Music Theory.
