Students at LCHS are expected to maintain physical fitness and develop healthy habits. Liberty’s Physical Education program provides expert instruction in fitness, conditioning, sports, health, nutrition and dance. The program supports students who participate in LCHS’s multiple competitive sports teams.
Our philosophy is for you to enjoy physical education through a wide variety of activities. These activities are mostly team and individually oriented. Our focus is to help you find activities that you enjoy so you can continue to take part in them throughout your lifetime. Skill and health related components, setting goals, as well as rules and history in each sport are necessary to become a physically educated person. Understanding the skill and health benefits can make you a “well-rounded” physically active person.
