FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is available for completion on October 1st,
www.fafsa.ed.gov

FREE Application Day
for in state colleges October 18-20th. Come to the College Center for help with application.
Review your applications and college essays to ensure they are accurate and complete.
Transcript requests are made in Naviance.
Focus on Scholarship Applications. Refer to Scholarship Packet in College Center. You may be eligible for more scholarships than you think, so apply for as many as you can!
November
Complete college apps by Thanksgiving.
Nov 15th is CU Boulder
- Early Action (non-binding) deadline (Regular Decision is Jan 11).
Use scholarship search feature in Naviance. Save scholarships of interest.
December

January
Stay Focused on coursework! Second semester grades are included on final Transcripts and can affect Merit Award amounts.
February
Continue to check your email for communications from colleges you've applied to.
March
Stay focused and keep studying - only a couple more months to go! Remember, colleges review your grades from your entire senior year.
Visit a campus. Spring break is a great time to visit.
April
Review your college acceptances and financial aid awards.
Update your Naviance account about your college decision so we know where to send your final transcripts.
May
The majority of colleges ask that you give them a decision by May 1 or June 1. This is when you need to have your deposit sent and your housing application completed if you intend to enroll.
Take AP exams, if appropriate and request that your AP scores be sent to the college you will be attending.
